Hey, friends! I'm Lindsey Claire Muecke (last name pronounced "Mickey"). As a classic introvert, I communicate best through writing. Over
the past decade+, this blog has become my favorite and longest-running
creative project, a wonderful way to document God's faithfulness through
the moments and milestones that shape my life! I know blogs have mostly gone out of fashion, but I was never in it to be popular. Writing is a fun artistic outlet where I can add my favorite stories, songs, photos, videos, verses,
quotes, etc. ❤
This particular blog is titled "Let
There Be Light." Those were the first four words directly spoken
by God in the Bible, a command with a deeper meaning that has become very significant to me. I want to consciously make room to let the light of Jesus shine in my heart -- bringing deeper joy in good times and offering comfort, healing, and clarity in dark moments. I also want to SHINE that light for others by speaking and writing words of life and hope! So "Let There Be Light" sums up my overarching goals here: Let the light of Christ fill my mind and heart, then reflect and shine that light in the midst of a dark world!
God is good and kind and trustworthy, and He keeps proving that
to me in new ways. I am grateful for His promise to work ALL things together for the
good of those who love Him. Through all my hard times and seasons of loss, I have eventually learned to trust Him more deeply and become more confident and secure in Christ, drawing my strength and identity from Him. I am better for every season of struggle I have been through, and I'm happy with the personal growth and resilience those times have built in me. Jesus has been loyal and faithful to me even when I’ve been distant or unfaithful to Him, and I want my life and my words to reflect that same grace for myself and others!
My eternal hope is centered on God's Word and Christ's coming
kingdom, and I know that hope will not be disappointed! ❤ For now, God promises that we will find
Him when we seek Him with ALL OUR HEARTS (Jeremiah 29:13), so I am intentionally pressing toward that goal!!
"Let us press on to know Him!" ~Hosea 6:3
My readership is small, which allows me to be more real and vulnerable here. I’m thankful you're a part of that group, and I hope you will see God's faithfulness as a theme in my life story and find some relatable encouragement, joy, and hope here!!
